Wisconsin Teacher’s Aide Charged with Sexual Relationship with Teen

A teacher’s aide from Wisconsin faces serious charges after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy, which allegedly began when he was just 12 years old.

A criminal complaint, filed on Monday in Fond du Lac County Court, details the accusations against Stephanie Jensen. She is accused of engaging in sexual relations with a teenage girl, referred to as Victim 1, on several occasions, as reported.

At the time of the incidents, Jensen, who is 41, was employed at Faith Lutheran School, serving students from grades 3K through 8 in Fond du Lac. The interactions reportedly started when she met the victim during her role at the school.

Investigators were informed by the victim that Jensen began flirting with her when she was 12. It appears Jensen was aware of the girl’s age, having taught second grade at the same school when the girl was in eighth grade. They frequently crossed paths on campus, which likely led to their inappropriate relationship.

The relationship escalated. The boy stated that his first sexual encounter with Jensen happened in September 2024, noting it took place before he turned 16, as he didn’t yet have a driver’s license. The victim revealed she had sexual relations with Jensen at least four times, commencing when she was 15, and they continued until she reached 17.

During this period, the victim also claimed Jensen sent her nude photos and that such explicit content was shared with other underage friends as well. “Victim 1 stated that Stephanie Jensen not only sent nude photos to her but also shared similar content with her friends,” the complaint indicates.

Word of Jensen’s actions circulated among the victim’s peers, which led to an increase in friend requests as others sought to see what Jensen would share.

Upon being questioned at home, Jensen denied any sexual activity with the girl. However, she allegedly acknowledged to the victim that she had sent sexual photos and videos to her. When detectives attempted to arrest Jensen, she reportedly reacted by saying, “I’m not under arrest,” and refused to stand up from the couch. Eventually, detectives had to assist her in getting up, as she resisted being handcuffed.

Jensen is facing charges that include possession of child pornography, several counts of child enticement, exposure of intimate parts to a child, and second-degree sexual assault of a child.

Following her arrest, Jensen was terminated from her position at Faith Lutheran School. The school released a statement saying, “Faith Lutheran School has terminated Stephanie Jensen’s employment following the filing of formal charges in court on Monday,” emphasizing their commitment to the safety of students, staff, and families.

Jensen’s initial court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday morning. As part of her bail conditions, she has been mandated to avoid contact with the victim and any minors and is to steer clear of social media. If convicted, Jensen could face a lengthy prison sentence.
