That's the end WNBA With the regular season over, it's time for the awards ceremony. While there's been a lot of debate over MVP (will A'ja Wilson win unanimously?) and Rookie of the Year (the race between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese was close at one point), the WNBA also hands out several other awards at the end of the season, including Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year.

When does the WNBA announce its awards?

The awards schedule has not yet been released, but last year the awards were announced every few days over a six-week period in the following order: Executive of the Year, Coach of the Year, Sixth Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year and All-Rookie Team, Defensive Player of the Year, All-Defensive First and Second Teams, All-WNBA First and Second Teams, and finally the Sportsmanship Award.

Who can vote for the WNBA Awards?

The voting committee is made up of 68 media professionals. From ESPNVotes will be cast by both the national media and the 12 WNBA markets, and the results will not be made public, although some reporters may choose to make their ballots public.
