WNBA player discusses her decision to join OnlyFans

Erica Wheeler Partners with OnlyFans, Focuses on Fitness and Awareness

Erica Wheeler, a player for the Seattle Storm, has made headlines as the first professional basketball player to collaborate with OnlyFans. Interestingly, she plans to steer clear of adult content on the platform, acknowledging the typical assumptions tied to it.

“I think this is often seen as a space strictly for adult content, but I want to change that perception,” Wheeler mentioned. She intends to utilize the platform for sharing workout routines, family moments, and behind-the-scenes glimpses from her WNBA season.

Wheeler, who is 34, expressed that she’s received little to no negative feedback from fans regarding her choice to partner with OnlyFans. Nevertheless, she has a response for those questioning her move. “I would ask them, ‘What do they do in their personal lives?'” she posited, suggesting that people shouldn’t judge her decisions so harshly. “Why should I care about their opinion? It means nothing to me,” she said. It’s an interesting perspective, really.

Having joined OnlyFans just four months ago, Wheeler has posted a handful of videos. Currently, she has garnered only 20 likes. However, she is excited about an upcoming video aimed at raising awareness about cervical cancer, calling it her “proudest video.” While she doesn’t have specific goals for subscriber numbers, her aim is to help reshape the platform’s image.

Wheeler also hopes to inspire other WNBA players to join her on OnlyFans, promising that an announcement is on the horizon. “The chances are 1,000 percent, I’d say,” she remarked, full of enthusiasm.

Wheeler’s journey in basketball has been unique. Starting her career undrafted from Rutgers University, she signed with the Atlanta Dream in 2015. After stints with the New York Liberty and Indiana Fever, she made history in 2019 as the first undrafted player to be named All-Star Game MVP. Health issues sidelined her during the 2020 season, but she rebounded with the Los Angeles Sparks and later returned to the Atlanta Dream and Indiana Fever before settling with the Seattle Storm in early 2025.

Her career trajectory is certainly worth keeping an eye on, especially as she forges a new path on OnlyFans.
