of WNBA The playoffs have begun, with first-round matchups set and games beginning on Sunday, September 22nd.
The first round will be a best-of-three format, with the higher-seeded team hosting the first two games and the lower-seeded team hosting the deciding third game if necessary.
The next two rounds (semi-finals and finals) will each be played in a best-of-five format, with the higher seeded team hosting the first two games, the lower seeded team hosting the third and fourth games (if necessary), and the higher seeded team hosting the fifth game (if necessary).
There will be action throughout the day on Sunday, September 22nd, with nationally televised matches taking place at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM ET. First-round matches will continue on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The semi-finals will begin on Sunday, September 29th and conclude on Tuesday, October 8th. The finals will begin on Thursday, October 10th and conclude on Sunday, October 22nd.
WNBA Playoffs – Round 1
#1 New York Liberty vs #8 Atlanta Dream
Game 1 will take place on Sunday, September 22nd at 1pm ET in New York (broadcast on ESPN).
Game 2 will be on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:30pm ET in New York (broadcast on ESPN).
Game 3, if necessary, will be played in Atlanta on Thursday, Sept. 26 (time TBA, broadcast on ESPN2).
#2 Minnesota Lynx vs #7 Phoenix Mercury
Game 1 will be in Minnesota on Sunday, September 22nd at 5pm ET (broadcast on ESPN).
Game 2 will be in Minnesota on Wednesday, September 25th at 9:30pm ET (broadcast on ESPN).
Game 3, if necessary, will be played in Phoenix on Friday, Sept. 27 (time TBA, broadcast on ESPN2).
#3 Connecticut Sun vs #6 Indiana Fever
Game 1 will be Sunday, September 22nd at 3pm in Connecticut (broadcast on ABC)
Game 2 will be in Connecticut on Wednesday, September 25th at 7:30pm (broadcast on ABC).

Game 1 will be on Sunday, September 22nd at 10pm in Las Vegas (broadcast on ESPN).
