NFL left-handed legend Emmitt Smith is slamming the University of Florida for following state law and eliminating its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) position.
The school was responding to new rules passed by the Florida Board of Governors in January that eliminated state funding for DEI departments, positions and programs.As a result, Florida Ended Fox News reports that 13 full-time DEI employees and 15 additional management appointments have been finalized.

But the three-time Super Bowl champion was outraged by the shooting and issued a rambling statement attacking the school.
“I’m absolutely disgusted by the university’s decision and the precedent it set,” said the awakened Smith. “Without a DEI department, that job will fall to the Office of the President, which is already overwhelmed with raising funds for the University and continuing to advance academic research in our athletic programs.”
“We cannot continue to believe that a team of leaders, all from the same background, will make the right decisions on equality and diversity. History has already proven that this is not the case,” he said vaguely. Said.

Smith went on to lament that the university is “behind the curve on systemic issues” and claimed without evidence that it is “currently closing its doors to other minorities without oversight.”
The former Dallas Cowboys and former Florida Gators player attacked those who agree to end left-wing DEI indoctrination, concluding: People who stand by and say nothing because they think it’s not their problem are contributing to supporting a systemic problem. ”
