The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday that they have signed kicker Harrison Butker to a new $25.6 million contract, and while the Chiefs are excited to be able to keep one of the league’s best NFL kickers, the announcement has the hateful woke left losing its little hive mind again.
You may recall that Liberals have been trying all year to fire Butker after he gave a college commencement speech in May in which he urged male graduates to embrace masculinity and women not to give up starting a family to pursue a professional career.
But now, instead of cutting him, the Chiefs are signing him to a big new contract that ensures he remains with the team through 2028.
Per Adam Schefter, “The Chiefs have agreed to a four-year, $25.6 million contract extension with standout kicker Harrison Butker that includes $17.75 million guaranteed, per source. The deal keeps Butker with KC through the 2028 season. Butker represented himself and negotiated the contract.”

Naturally, the far-left was outraged, and responded to Schefter’s X-post with their usual hatred for Butker and Christians.
Many leftists have attacked Butker’s wife with vicious comments about Kicker’s new contract, including vaccine advocate Apu Akkad.
He earns the money so his wife can stay at home and cook and take care of the kids, just like he wants?

Others have used the announcement more broadly to argue that the NFL “hates women” because the Chiefs re-signed Butker.
