It truly is a never ending rollercoaster of fun in the Premier League as winless Wolves host Newcastle at Molineux. Another summer of being forced to sell their best players has resulted in shaky start for Gary O’Neil’s men as their new arrivals look to fill the gaps left by Maximilian Kilman and Pedro Neto.

In Wolves’ defence they have come up against Arsenal and Chelsea in the opening weeks of the campaign, although shipping six against the Blues at Molineux would have done little for morale.

Newcastle seem to be sold as being crisis over their own struggles in the transfer market but, according to the league table, they are unbeaten thus far, winning two of their opening three fixtures. Last time out they beat Tottenham and a third victory of the season would show that Eddie Howe is still doing a fine job in the north east.

Goals! Wolves 1-0 Newcastle (Lemina 36)
The Wolves captain scored from close range.
34th minute: Isak and Gordon faced off in a two-on-two against the Wolves defence but the Swede couldn't find the winger and the ball rolled a bit like a pinball before Ait-Nouri cleared it.
32nd minute: Cunha sent a cross straight to Byrne, earning Wolves a corner kick, which hit deep inside the post and Ait-Nouri controlled the ball to earn another corner kick at the other end, which went in vain.
half an hour: Wolves made some good breaks with centre-back Mosquera overlapping wide, but his crosses were poorly directed.
28th minute: Bellegarde was the latest Wolves player to charge into Newcastle's penalty area, evading Byrne and Hall but sending his shot wide over the bar. There were some promising signs for Wolves but nothing came of the opening quarter of the game.
Gordon, who likes to enjoy things to the fullest, is found writhing on the floor after Lemina's challenge – he gets up and is totally fine.
26 minutes: The first sign of danger for Newcastle came when Semedo advanced to the line and pulled the ball back to Cunha, whose shot was quickly blocked by Guimaraes.
24th minute: Gordon evaded two Wolves defenders with ease before racing into the box and taking a shot from a tight angle, only for his shot to graze the wide post.
22 minutes: “I'm just eating a fish finger sandwich I bought on Sunday, with the £48.50 I didn't spend on a seat at Molineux.” Peter Higginson says“I paid £6 to see my first Steve Bull game in 1990 and the football was fantastic. I can't remember who's in the team now and I don't care where we're placed as long as we don't get relegated. Bring Nuno back!”
It's yet another reminder of how desperate clubs are to lock fans out on the price.
20 minutes: Newcastle have had the ball for three quarters so far and it's been a very one-sided affair.
Gordon went down on the edge of the box chasing the ball on goal and called for a foul after slight contact with Semedo but none was given.
18 minutes: Cunha charged into the Newcastle defence to win a throw-in, eliciting huge excitement from the Wolves fans, before the Brazilian called on his supporters to be more vocal – on an afternoon when the Molineux fans needed more of the opposite, rather than galvanising their team.
16th minute: Hall and Gordon are active down the left wing, while Isak is always looking for little spaces to do his damage.
Lemina wins the ball on the edge of the box and launches a counter attack, but passes the ball to Strand Larsen, who loses it.
14 min: Livramento got in behind Bellegarde and Chris Kavanagh duly awarded the free kick.
12 minutes: Wolves finally launched an attacking attack, with Semedo cutting in from the right and firing a left-footed shot only for Pope to break through the long barrier to deny it.
Pope had a poor touch on Hall's pass and Cunha nearly got the ball, but the goalkeeper just barely managed to deflect it away.
10 minutes: All credit to Newcastle. Wolves haven't even started the game yet. They seem content at this stage to let the visitors have the ball and do their best.
8 min: Isak received a pass on the halfway line, spun and threaded his way through the Wolves defence to Murphy, who had a quick shot which was deflected away by Johnston.
6 min: Cunha does his best to get Wolves over the halfway line but Joelinton is beside him to steal the ball away.
Isak spins to shoot inside the Wolves box but Dawson jumps in front of him.
4 minutes: Gordon chipped a cross towards the post but a Newcastle player was ready to pounce and Ait Nouri headed it clear.
The Wolves have yet to get out of their own half.
2 min: Newcastle moved the ball around well in the opening minutes, but Wolves' only involvement was an unaimed long pass from Sam Johnstone and a foul on Livramento by Cunha.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Let's go!
Now, here comes the team…
Eddie Howe: “I think the team still has a lot to work on but I think we're in good shape. We have a really good spirit in the team but we know it's going to be difficult away from home and we'll need to be at our best.”
“The bench is looking good and the team is strong, but we're short on numbers.”
Newcastle fan Chris Paraskevas got in touch:We have seven points after three games and Eddie Howe is doing his best to imitate a Ridley Scott press tour (minus the swearing) every time he sits down for an interview.
“I know I should be worried about the present and the future but I have yet to forgive the club for the 8-0 debacle of the A-League All Stars. This is my own personal Hereford.
“I won't be satisfied until we win by the same scoreline again and will continue to leave reminders on the club's Instagram account.”
…we teeth It will be a big win in the Black Country.”
In case you haven't heard, it's raining heavily in Wolverhampton. It should be a fun encounter. Everyone likes playing football in the rain.
This will be the 10th time the two teams meet at Molineux in the Premier League. Seven of those matches ended in draws.
The match ended in north London with Arsenal beating Tottenham 1-0 thanks to a header from Gabriel.
Andre will be making his full debut for Wolves and frankly there's very little to say about him, but the club seems to be doing well in the Brazilian market and it will be interesting to see how he performs against the experienced Newcastle midfield.
A fun game at Newcastle.

preamble
The Premier League is a rollercoaster of never-ending fun as winless Wolves host Newcastle at Molineux. Gary O'Neill's side have made a shaky start to the summer after being forced to sell their best players and bringing in new signings to fill the gaps left by Maximilian Kilmann and Pedro Neto.
Wolves' defensive side has faced Arsenal and Chelsea in the opening weeks of the season, but a six-point defeat to the Blues at Molineux will have done little to boost morale.
Newcastle may seem in crisis due to their transfer struggles, but the league table shows they are unbeaten so far, having won two of their opening three games. A third win of the season, having beaten Tottenham in their last outing, would prove that manager Eddie Howe is still doing a great job in the North East.
