Woman charged with breaking into plastic surgeons' offices in Beverly Hills

Plastic surgeons known for their celebrity clientele are now offering a reward to find a woman who allegedly posed as a construction worker. She reportedly broke into their Beverly Hills offices and then went on a shopping spree using stolen credit cards.

This incident took place on July 30 in a suite located on the 120 block of South Spalding Drive, which houses renowned plastic surgeons like Dr. Garth Fisher, who is recognized for his role on “Extreme Makeover,” and Dr. Paul Nassif from the reality show “Botched.”

At the time, there were construction efforts underway in the building. When the woman, claiming to work on the construction site, asked to check the water pressure in Dr. Fisher’s office, his staff member didn’t think twice about letting her in, as reported by KTLA.

Miluzka Romero, an employee, recounted how the woman convinced them she was legitimate by pointing to the logo on her shirt when she walked in. Romero escorted her around the facility, including access to various rooms and the bathroom close to Dr. Fisher’s office.

According to Romero, she led the woman to the back area of the office—right next to Dr. Fisher’s office—where the woman went to the bathroom and even flushed the toilet, making her presence seem mundane.

Surveillance footage later showed the woman casually moving through the space while being accompanied by the staff before she exited the building. Not long after, Dr. Fisher and his wife began receiving alerts about a multitude of unauthorized charges totaling in the thousands on their credit cards and through Apple Pay.

Romero mentioned that after leaving, the woman came back in, claiming she had left her phone behind. “She went straight to those offices and then left,” she noted. Alarmingly, this second visit was when the alleged theft took place.

After reviewing the footage, Dr. Fisher reported that it showed the woman taking their wallets. It turned out she had also targeted two other offices in the same building, gaining access each time by pretending to be a construction worker.

Attempts to obtain further comments from the Beverly Hills Police Department were made.
