Police announced Thursday that the body of a 38-year-old woman was found in a luxury hotel room in New York City.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to FOX News Digital that a hotel maid found a 38-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive in her room at the Soho Hotel in Manhattan around 10:30 a.m. .
Her body was found in a room on the 11th floor of the Soho 54 hotel, authorities said.
Emergency services were called to the scene and confirmed the woman dead.

This mysterious death occurred during the city’s glorious New York Fashion Week.
“I’m just here for Fashion Week, so I’m just here to sleep,” one woman told FOX News Digital. “It was very scary.”

Video from outside the hotel showed NYPD officers surrounding the area.
“I was scared at first. I thought it was my violent boyfriend or something,” one woman told Fox News Digital. She said: “It was scary because she was unresponsive for so long.”

Another woman said she witnessed the woman talking to hotel management, after which authorities rushed to the woman’s room on the second floor.
Another woman said, “There was a woman who came to the reception desk and she was screaming.” She said: “Police went upstairs and tried to calm everyone down.”
