According to her family, the woman is believed to be dead after falling overboard on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship on the first day of her '80s-themed voyage.
The victim is reportedly Kimberly Burch, the 56-year-old fiancee of Taime Downe, the frontman of the band “Fastest Pussy Cat.”
Burch's step-sister, Kelly Burch, said Downe called the family to share the devastating news, but her body has not yet recovered.
Passengers watched Downe's band for a performance of less than 90 minutes before one passenger, Casey Markey and Burch went overboard. I wrote it on X on Tuesday. A spokesman for the Royal Caribbean Group confirmed the incident with Fox News Digital, but there was little details to share.

“Our crew members are quickly launching search and rescue operations and working with local governments to provide support and support to our guest families during these difficult times,” the statement read. “There are no additional details to share to respect the privacy of our guests' families.”
The incident took place on the first night of a seven-day cruise that sailed from Miami on Sunday, March 2nd.

The ship was about 20 miles from Freeport in the Bahamas, so when the incident occurred, a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman told Fox News Digital that it was the lead agency investigating by the Royal Bahamas Defense Force.
The royal Bahamian Defense Forces were not immediately contacted for comment.

The situation remains unknown as to how the passengers fell off the ship.
“the current #RCL Ocean Explorer for #80Scruise. Unfortunately, we have a “female outboard” situation and the boats are deployed. Currently, it is over 80 miles from Miami at 11pm. Not good,” Markey wrote in a post on X on March 2nd.

Burch's family confirmed to Fox News Digital that they were “absolutely heartbroken.”
“It's a broken heart to share the sad news that Kimberly Burch has passed away. She was her beloved daughter, sister, step-sister and aunt,” Kelly Burch paid tribute to her Facebook page.
“She will be greatly overlooked by everyone who knows and loves her. During this time, we ask for prayers for our family as she tries to wrap our hearts around this tragic tragedy.

Kellie Burch told Fox News Digital that despite speaking to the Coast Guard and Nassau police, the ship gave little details to the family.
“I don't even know if they've started looking for her again after the weather has settled down. I couldn't speak to anyone on the ship,” Burch said.
