A woman has said she felt like Frankenstein after plastic surgery allegedly went awry.

Ellsworth said she thought she smelled alcohol when Dr. Becker came to visit her before the surgery began.

“I had left money with him, and the way he behaved, there was no way he was going to give it back to me,” she said in an interview with Phoenix New Times. “So I just kept going.”

When Ellsworth finally saw the results, she said her concerns were justified. Her complaint says she had excess skin hanging from her body that she believed should have been removed during her surgery.

“I didn't go to family parties. I didn't want to go anywhere. I didn't want to dress up. When I went somewhere, I'd wear really tight underwear and try to tuck in all the extra skin.” “The whole point of a tummy tuck is not to do it,” she told Phoenix New Times.

Ellsworth said she believed there was something fishy before the surgery.

“I knew something was wrong when he just said, 'Okay, let's go to the operating room,' and he didn't mark me,” Ellsworth said.

Ellsworth claimed that she developed debilitating depression, which affected her marriage.

“Dr. Becker destroyed my wife. He destroyed her as a person,” Tyler Ellsworth wrote in a letter to the Arizona State Board of Osteopathy. “Words cannot describe the overwhelming depression and pain she experienced. His cuts didn't just peel the skin off her stomach and chest, they literally scarred her for the rest of her life. Ta.”

In his response to the first complaint, Dr. Becker denied drinking alcohol before the surgery. He also said the procedure was in line with the standard of care, the Phoenix New Times reported.

A lawsuit filed in October by another of Dr. Becker's patients made similar claims, which the plastic surgeon denied.
