A huge brawl broke out at a women’s college basketball game in Mississippi on Thursday, resulting in both players and fans being ejected from the field.
During the second quarter of the game between members of the Southern Mississippi Lady Eagles and the Arkansas State University Red Wolves at Reed Greene Coliseum in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Arkansas forward Emma Imebore It happened when he grabbed a rebound and tangled with Mississippi State’s Domonique Davis. As they grappled, Imevbore appeared to shove his opponent and knock him to the floor. However, Imevbore was also seen throwing several fists at Brikaira Gray.

Umpires also entered the fire to separate the players.
At one point, even a few fans jumped in and joined the imbroglio.
Izzy Higginbottom and Winter Rogers each had 11 points. However, Arkansas State women’s basketball lost to Southern Miss 57-48.

After the chaos subsided, the match understandably came to a screeching halt as officials spent 23 minutes deciding what to do.
In the end, five players and even three fans were ejected from the arena.
Southern Mississippi State’s A’ja Leake, Lani Cornfield, Domonique Davis and Brikayla Gray were ejected from the game. Imebu Boa of the University of Arkansas was also thrown out.
After the game, Southern Miss head coach Joy Lee McNelis said, “We have to follow conference guidelines, so I can’t comment too much.” However, I think it is very, very unfortunate. And I believe that with everything that happens in life, you can learn. You may not like the results, but you will learn from them. ”
“And I don’t think something like this will ever happen again, but I believe we shouldn’t have. It won’t happen again. No matter where we are in life, every decision we make, We need to understand that whether it’s tomorrow, the day after, or whenever, it will determine our future,” added Lee McNelis.
Despite losing many players, Southern Miss ultimately prevailed, defeating Arkansas State 57-48.
It is unclear whether the university will take further action against either player.
