NXXT Golf CEO Stuart McKinnon has vowed to review the group's policy of allowing male-born transgender players to play as women in the group's tournaments. However, he still defends his own policies and has allowed controversial golfer Hayley Davidson to participate.
The CEO's pledge comes amid mounting backlash after the Scottish-born player, whose real name is James Scott Davidson, won a group tournament on January 17th, which led to her becoming the leading player in women's professional golf. Fox said he is pushing for full membership. The news reported.
McKinnon said she understands that many consider Davidson's participation to be unfair to natural-born women, but said she follows LPGA rules on the issue. .
“We understand that this topic evokes strong emotions and diverse perspectives. We encourage constructive dialogue and respect all athletes who strive to compete at the highest level of their sport. ” McKinnon said.

Mr McKinnon also revealed that he would be looking into how members felt about allowing transgender athletes to compete, and urged Mr Davidson to “adhere to appropriate guidelines”. He added that he would like to request that he undergo “additional testosterone testing to be sure.”
“We want to assure the public and all stakeholders that we are committed to transparency and thoroughness in addressing this issue. As we continue to collect and analyze more information, , we will endeavor to provide further updates as the latest information becomes available and becomes relevant. We work diligently to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information is shared. We will continue to focus on this,” he concluded.

Davidson has slammed those who question her participation in women's golf, accusing her detractors of “misinformation” and spreading “hate.”
“The amount of false hate I've received so far today is insane. All these people (think) I hit 300 yards, even 280 yards. On a good day I hit 250 yards. What about it?'' he said. I have writtenreported the New York Post.
In another social media post, Davidson said I have written“We will never allow hatred to win, especially when it is based on misinformation.”
Davidson reportedly began undergoing hormone treatment in 2015 and then underwent full gender reassignment surgery in 2021. She also began competing as a woman that same year and began to rapidly rise up the ranks in the women's golf world.
In 2021, the LPGA granted him permission to begin working towards qualifying for an official LPGA Pro Card.
