Former President Donald Trump said Thursday that “the world is watching” his criminal trial in Manhattan and that he may stop doing business in New York because of its “rigged” justice system.
Trump made the comments before entering the courtroom for the second day of the jury verdict.
“It’s all rigged. Everything, the whole system is rigged,” Trump told reporters. “It’s disgraceful.”
“It’s a very sad day for America,” he continued. “The whole world is watching. And it’s a very sad day for New York.”
“The outside world is watching, but the outside world is not going to bring their business to New York,” Trump warned. “Businesses are leaving, people are fleeing.”
“But here we are, and it’s going to be a long time,” Trump said of the jury’s deliberations. “Thank you.”

Thursday morning began with a re-reading of jury instructions and some key points of the trial transcript before the day’s end, at the request of jurors on Wednesday.
According to the report, the jury instructions included:
- Decisions should not be based on prejudices or stereotypes.
- They must put aside their personal differences.
- Don’t speculate on how long the sentence will be or what the punishment will be – that’s up to the judge.
- They can’t blame Trump for not testifying.
- “People have to prove every element of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt,” he said, reminding jurors not to base their verdicts on speculation.
- Consideration may be given to whether the witness is hoping to obtain some benefit in relation to the trial or whether he or she has an interest in the outcome of the case.
- Because Michael Cohen is an accomplice, his testimony alone cannot be used to incriminate Trump, but his testimony can be used if corroborated with other evidence.
- Jurors must be unanimous to find Trump guilty on each charge of whether he personally committed a crime, conspired with others to commit a crime, or both.
- They must determine whether Trump conspired to illegally promote or prevent someone from holding public office.
- They should deliberate with a view to reaching agreement, without abandoning personal judgment.
- Juror notes cannot be used in place of evidence.
- After deliberations are completed, the judge will issue a sentence on each charge.
- They must turn in their cell phones and can only discuss the incident when all 12 are together.
The judge in Trump’s New York City trial told jurors they don’t have to unanimously agree which crimes were committed, but they must all choose at least one.
And some of the crimes they can pick out are ones Trump hasn’t even been charged with!!!
This was indeed a sham test…
