Rich Dowa, an important member of the coaching staff who won the Houston Altroz World Series, died earlier this week. He was 72 years old.
Baltimore Oriols announced Dauar's death on Monday. Dauer debuted in the major league in Oriols in 1976, and spent the next 10 years as an infielder of a franchise.
The cause of death was not announced immediately.

Jim Palmer, who entered the baseball Hall of Fame, paid respect to Dauer.

Dauer served as a coach of Astros when Houston defeated Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2017 World Series. He underwent an emergency surgery following the season to deal with the summary in the season. MLB.com reported in 2023 that he had a lot of stroke recently.

Two MLB All -Star Alex Bregman participated in Instagram on Monday and praised Dauer. “I will rip my brothers. We love you,” wrote Bregman. “You will miss it.”

Dauer had a home rate to open a score in the 1979 World Series Game 7 between Oriols and Pittsburg Pirates. Baltimore eventually loses the 4-3 series, but Orioles returned to the World Series in 1983 and broke the Philadelphia Phillies.
Dauer was appointed in the Oriols Hall of Fame in 2012. He was also part of the 2021 class of the university baseball Hall of Fame. He helped Southern California won the national title in 1973 and 1974.
