‘World’s most Monstrous Bodybuilder’ Illia Yefimchyk Dies at 36

Ilya Efimchek, dubbed “the world's most fearsome bodybuilder”, has reportedly died following a recent heart attack.

Efimchik Died He died at just 36 years old, about a week after suffering a heart attack and becoming brain dead, according to Fox News.

News of the Belarusian bodybuilder's death was first reported on Instagram and on the YouTube channel “Nick's Strength and Power.”

The bodybuilder's wife, Anna, told Belarusian media that she was praying for Ilia's recovery after he suffered a heart attack earlier this month, but in the end the prayers were in vain.

“I stayed by his side every day hoping and his heart started beating again for two days but then the doctors gave me the horrible news that his brain had died,” she said.

“Thank you all for your condolences. It warms my heart to know that I am not alone in this world and that so many people have offered me help and support,” Anna added.

Standing 6 feet tall and weighing 340 pounds, Yefimchik's obsession with size and strength has earned him the nickname “the most monstrous bodybuilder”: he can reportedly bench press 600 pounds, deadlift 700 pounds, and squat 700 pounds.

He reported eating 15,000 calories a day to stay in shape.
