by Guinness World Records, Mr. Kosen is tall enough to reach a basketball hoop without jumping. In 2009, he overtook China’s Shi Shun, who was just 7 feet 9 inches, to become the world’s tallest living man. He also holds the record for the largest living person. His hand size is 11.2 inches from his wrist to the tip of his middle finger. Mr. Causen’s height is the result of a disease known as pituitary gigantism.

He was unable to attend school due to his medical condition and was told he was too tall to play basketball. He then gave up his life as a farmer to support his family. But all that changed in 2009 when he was officially recognized as the tallest man on the planet. “After that day, I was born,” he said in an old interview.

Over the next ten years, Sultan’s life changed for the better. Most importantly, he received free, life-saving surgery to stop his endless growth. His pituitary gland was damaged by the tumor, causing it to overproduce growth hormone. Interestingly, his growth spurt did not begin until he was 10 years old.

This record holder has visited 127 countries and currently serves as Turkiye’s cultural ambassador. He also appeared on a cooking show on Romanian TV before coming to the United States.

On the other hand, Amge is only 62.8 cm tall and was born on December 6, 1993. Amge hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra, and since setting the world record, she has traveled to various countries.

Meanwhile, her height is due to a type of dwarfism called achondroplasia. She is shorter than the average 2 year old. She appeared as a guest on the reality show Bigg Boss in 2012. According to her official website, Amzi joined the fourth season of American Horror Story: Freak Show in August 2014.
