Last month, Stuart Smith left the hospital following a wrestling event where he sustained injuries during a conflict involving Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s son, Raja. Smith shared an update on his social media on Sunday, letting everyone know he was out of the hospital.
During the Knokx wrestling event in California, Jackson slammed Smith onto the mat forcefully while he was already down. It was a tough scene, and things got serious really quickly.
“Stuart has been released from the hospital and is currently resting at home,” the statement said. “He experienced severe head trauma and was unconscious on arrival at the ER. His injuries included damage to both his upper and lower jaw, tears to his upper lip, and fractures in the upper jaw that sadly led to some teeth being lost.”

“He’s got a long recovery ahead, but he’s holding up. I really appreciate all the love and support from everyone during this time. Thanks to those who sent financial help, food, flowers, or other gifts,” Smith expressed.
A video posted around the time of the incident shows what led to the altercation—Jackson reportedly poured beer over Smith’s head, instigating the clash. Another clip suggests they were trying to make amends shortly after, with Smith seemingly apologizing.
The LAPD responded to the incident and is currently investigating what happened. Following the event, Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy released a statement condemning Jackson’s actions.
“What was supposed to be a choreographed wrestling bit turned into a thoughtless and reckless act of violence against Mr. Smith. Such behavior is inexcusable and should never have taken place.”
