WWE legend Hulk Hogan rescued a teenage girl from her car after it rolled over in a horrific crash on a Tampa-area freeway Sunday night, according to multiple reports.
The 70-year-old man was with his wife, Skye Daly, and friend, Jake Lusk, when they saw their car flip over after being wedged by another vehicle. TMZ Sports first reported.
Photos obtained by TMZ Sports show Hogan and Lusk with a 17-year-old girl near her car, which is completely upside down.
The Daily said the girl was “shaken” by the ordeal but appeared to be OK.
“After finishing dinner in Tampa last night, I saw a car roll over in front of me,” Daley wrote on her private Instagram on Monday, according to TMZ Sports. I'm so grateful to my friend jakerask for jumping into action, puncturing the girl's airbag and quickly getting her out of the car. “Apparently she was unharmed, just rattled around.'' This is truly a miracle!”
The accident occurred at Exit 2A of the Veterans Expressway toward Clearwater, Tampa Police Department said. told Fox 13..
“We're so glad she's safe. God got us there at the right time,” Lusk told FOX 13.
Hogan married his third wife Daly in September.
He is perhaps the most recognized professional wrestling star in the world, and helped push the popularity of professional wrestling to new heights in the 1980s and '90s.
WWE terminated Hogan's contract in 2015 after it was revealed that he had uttered the N-word in a sex tape and said he was “racist in a way.” He apologized for his remarks.
Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 and appeared on WWE television last January.
