WWE star Liv Morgan had a felony charge dropped after she was arrested in Florida last month on marijuana possession charges.

Morgan, whose real name is Giona Daddio, was arrested in Sumter County and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams) and possession of synthetic cannabinoids, according to online records. But on Tuesday, authorities dropped charges against her for possessing synthetic cannabinoids.

An assistant state's attorney for the county told the National Desk, “To prove a charge of possession of THC, the state must prove that the THC is derived from synthetic sources and not from plant sources.”

“Since there are no labs in Florida that perform such tests, we remanded the case to county court for possession of marijuana.”

Morgan is a one-time SmackDown Women's Champion and won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Raquel Rodriguez in early 2023.

Morgan was recently sidelined with a shoulder injury.

“Yes, I talked to Liv. She's doing well. She's recovering really well,” Rodriguez told The Dallas Morning News in October. “She's doing very well and of course is very, very excited to be back. There's no specific date as to when she'll be back. We're all waiting for her. I I know, I miss her terribly.

“So, I'm very excited about that. But I feel like time goes by quickly. She's on the road to recovery. So I think she'll be back sooner rather than later. And he'll probably be back sooner than any of us.'' I can really imagine. ”
