WWE star Rhea Ripley triumphantly returns to ring for Dominik Mysterio confrontation

After months of being sidelined due to a wrist injury, Rhea Ripley returned to “RAW” on Monday night, facing Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.

Mysterio and Morgan teamed up to take on Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega, with Mysterio’s son pinning his father for the first time and Morgan jumping into his father’s arms, just as he had done in the weeks since Ripley was away from the ring.

Just as Mysterio and Morgan appeared about to kiss, Ripley’s theme music played, much to the delight of the Ottawa fans, and as Ripley walked around the ring to the announcer’s table, Morgan scurried out of the ring as if she had seen a ghost.

She then returned to the ring and confronted a stunned Mysterio as “Monday Night Raw” went off the air.

“Mami’s back,” she told Mysterio.

Ripley suffered a wrist injury caused by Morgan, forcing her to relinquish her women’s world title in April.

Since then, Morgan has won the Women’s World Championship by defeating Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring, she was heavily involved with Mysterio and Ripley’s faction, Judgment Day, and helped Finn Balor and JD McDonagh win the tag team titles.

However, before vacating the title, Ripley vowed to return with a vengeance.

“This win means the most to me of my life, which is why it hurts so much,” she said at the time, adding that she was back “out for blood.”

Ripley won the women’s title at WrestleMania 39. She has successfully defended the title several times since then, including against Lynch at WrestleMania 40.

Now that she’s back, the Raw women’s division is stronger than ever.
