WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley caught the attention of her fiancé when she did her best impersonation of pro wrestling legend Rikishi during her match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at Saturday night’s live event. .

Back in the WWE Hall of Famer’s heyday, Rikishi would punch his opponents in the “stink face” and shove his butt in the face of just about everyone standing dumbfounded in the corner of the ring.

RAW Women’s Champion Ripley also performed the same move on Jax. Her fiancé, All Elite Wrestling star Buddy Matthews, had a cheeky response.

“A weekly occurrence for me,” he wrote to X.

Ripley and Matthews began dating in 2022 and got engaged in August 2023. Matthews was with WWE from 2013 to 2021, joining AEW in 2022 and teaming up with professional wrestlers known as Malachi Black and Brody King to form the House of Black faction.

Ripley is set to defend her Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch on her way to WrestleMania 40. Ripley has been the women’s champion for nearly a year, having defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles in 2023.

She hasn’t lost since teaming up with Dominik Mysterio to take on Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria in a tag team match at Heatwave.
