World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar John Cena announced Saturday at the Money in the Bank event at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto that he plans to retire after his final match at WrestleMania 41.

After Sami Zayn defended his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breaker, WWE Hall of Famer and event host Trish Stratus introduced the surprise guest: wrestling star Cena, who entered the arena to thunderous applause, Forbes reported. report.
“Why am I here? Tonight I’m officially announcing my retirement from WWE,” Cena told the crowd, who erupted in cheers at the announcement.

“It was a golden opportunity and I wanted to take advantage of it right now. I want to say thank you,” Cena said of why he decided to make the announcement so soon. “This farewell doesn’t end tonight. It’s full of opportunity. Guys, RAW is moving to Netflix next year and we’re going to make history. I’ve never been on RAW on Netflix. This is history. It’s a first. I’ll be there.”
Cena confirmed that WrestleMania 41, the two-night event at Allegiant Stadium, will be his final match, and while he didn’t reveal who he’ll be facing, he did issue a challenge to the remaining competitors.
“If you’re a WWE superstar, if you want it, come and get it,” Cena said.
