X's head of international operations, Nick Pickles, is leaving Elon Musk's controversial social media platform after 10 years at the company.
Pickles said he decided to leave Twitter several months ago and was working with CEO Linda Yaccarino through the transition.
“Over 10 years later, tomorrow will be my last day at X. It's been an amazing journey.” he wrote to X late Thursday night.
It was not immediately clear what his next plans were or why he decided to step down.
Mr. X and Mr. Pickles did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Wall Street Journal reported in June that Company X's head of business operations, Joe Benarroch, had left the company, citing people familiar with the matter.
Pickles joined X in 2014 as a senior manager in the company's London office and has held several roles since being appointed vice president of international operations at X in 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Financial Times Reported He has served as a spokesman for the company in its battles with several governments, including Brazil, which announced last week that it was suspending access to the social network in the country.
The popular social media platform was suspended after failing to meet a court-imposed deadline to appoint a legal representative in Brazil.
Musk claimed Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes was trying to impose unjust censorship, but the judge argued that X needed hate speech restrictions.
