When asked by Knost if he had ever played golf against NBA legend Michael Jordan, Schauffele said he had, prompting Knost to point out that Jordan was “really hard to woo.” (RELATED: Dan Hurley is getting treated like a king because of his loyalty to University of Connecticut…free wings for life)
“I did my best and he beat me,” Schauffele said. “It’s pretty embarrassing.”
“What?!” asked Nost in shock.
“That was the case the last three holes,” Schauffele said, “I beat him like a pancake on the stroke holes, and then I started swearing at him and he shut up.” [and] “I was focused, and then he birdied 15 and 16, zero strokes, and just beat me. So I thought, ‘All right.’

Oh my goodness, what a great story, and as Cole and Xander say, it’s so weird that “he came through when it was needed.”
This guy clearly still has the clutch gene. 61 years old And this guy is turning things around and beating professional golfers in what looks like a combination of the Masters and the NBA Finals.
Man…it’d be awesome to be Michael Jordan.
