Xander Schauffele has solidified himself as a key player.
Two months after winning his first major at the PGA Championship, Schauffele won the 2024 British Open on Sunday at Royal Troon, climbing up the rankings with his second career major victory.
The 30-year-old shot a six-under 65 in the final round to finish at nine under par, two strokes behind Justin Rose, who shot a four-under 67 on Sunday.

Schauffele became the first golfer to win two major championships in the same season since Brooks Koepka won the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in 2018.
Schauffele has finished in the top 10 in all four major tournaments this year, finishing eighth at the Masters and tied for seventh at the U.S. Open.
