Tampa – The way the World Series, especially the way the Game 5 ended against the Dodgers, is so painful that you have to pick yourself up from the mat when you're short on the World Series.
The Yankees then lost Juan Soto's war of bidding, and were given a double body blow that lost him by the Mets at the time, and quickly threw the offseason into the Plan B version.
A few months later, the Yankees are about to begin their journey to see if it's enough to take another crack in the championship.
“Some people may disagree with me, but some will agree with me – I think we have a better team than we were today a year ago,” he said. Hal Steinbrenner spoke on the Yes Network last month.
Steinbrenner's argument has been a topic of discussion, but ultimately the only thing that matters is whether the Yankees are better this time this October.
They have come a long way to get that chance, but despite offering a 16-year, $760 million contract, set yourself up after missing out on Soto That's what I did.
As GM Brian Cashman promised, they redirected all the cash and didn't spend like “drunk seafarers” but to get more rounded, better defensive, more athletic , I used that chunk.
The Yankees added left-handed Max Fried (an eight-year, $218 million contract) and outfielder/first bass man Cody Bellinger (a two-year, $52.5 million left on the deal in exchange for Cody Poteet). (one year, $12.5 million) and closer Devin Williams (and a salary of $8.6 million in exchange for Nestor Cortes and Caleb Durbin).
The group combines 13 All-Star selections and two MVPs, but the Yankees are paying them for what they can do this year (and at least for Freed, beyond that).
Adding frying should help further solidify the spins, which could become one of the Yankees' biggest strengths.
Of course, it was last spring that Jerit Cole was sidelined with an elbow injury that kept him locked up until June.
Therefore, the first test for this Yankees staff will be the depths of Marcus Stroman, a $18 million trade candidate whose role is uncertain before opening day on March 27th. Instead of having to take advantage of options, you will overcome your camp health.
Meanwhile, Bellinger and Goldschmidt will be tasked with supplementing some of the productions Soto has offered on its own.
Goldschmidt, 37, is away from the worst season of his 14-year career, but the Yankees believe there is still more in the Tank.
Spring training statistics are not particularly important to veterans, but how Goldschmidt looks like in camp will attract a lot of attention.
With Bellinger taking over center field, the Yankees can turn Al MVP Aaron's judge back to the right, where he becomes defensively stronger, but Jasson Dominguez (his best shot still becomes the everyday impact player) (Not) is expected from those left behind.

thank you
His transition from center field to left didn't work out late last season, but Dominguez gets a camp runway this year to prove that it won't be a problem this year.
The Yankees don't feel very restless on 3 base. There, it appears to be ready to create a camp battle between Oswald Cabrera, Oswald Peraza, DJ Lemahieu and Yorvit Vivas.
It all brings a significant amount of turnover for a team that has taken home their first World Series title since 2009 and won three wins.
Perhaps it will help reduce the psychological wounds that may have remained since last October, as well as a stunning Game 5 collapse that includes three defensive gaffes in five innings that are tragic.
The deep wounds of the past few months may not be completely healed yet, but when the pitchers and catchers reported on Tuesday – with their first full squad workout set next Monday – the time for licking is over.
