Yankees-Brewers connections will run deep in season-opening series

Phoenix – No couple in major league baseball is as messy as New York, Milwaukee, the largest and smallest market.

However, in three weeks they will perform the series in the Bronx. This promises to be captivated beyond the obvious things that come with the hopes and dignity of opening a season. This is due to the many connections between franchises that are usually very different.

Devin Williams will close for the Yankees, and Nestor Cortez will also start one of three games, perhaps Jose Quintana. Considered by both New York teams in the offseason, Caleb Durbin has a strong opportunity to make the brewer as a deeper portion. And Cody Bellinger, Paul Goldschmidt and Fernando Cruz are all familiar with Milwaukee, NL Central, making their Yankees debut.

A visit to Brewer Camp brought interesting insights into all the people who bring familiarity (and perhaps even more) to the opening series.
