The Yankees have to wait for an extra day to bounce back from their losses on Friday.
Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium was postponed due to sustained bad weather forecasts, the team said.
The game will be composed as part of the Sunday of the straight double header starting at 1:35pm
With the postponement, manager Aaron Boone will give him an extra day to ponder what to do with Devin Williams, who now owns an 11.25 ERA in his first 10 games as a Yankee.
After Friday’s game, Boone was uncommitted about whether to keep Williams in a closer role to advance.
If he chose to breathe the two-time All-Stars, he could replace Williams with Luke Weaver.
