Yankees Star Aaron Judge States That Only Jesus Truly Fulfills

Yankees’ Aaron Judge Talks Faith Over Fame

A standout player in Major League Baseball recently expressed that worldly accomplishments seem insignificant compared to the life he finds in Jesus. Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees leads the league with impressive stats—batting average at .355, on-base percentage at .462, and 125 hits—but he claims that none of this compares to the sense of peace and purpose he derives from his faith.

The 10-year veteran made these remarks before the All-Star Game while speaking with CBN Sports. When asked what he would say to someone who believes that fame and wealth can solve life’s problems, he answered thoughtfully.

“Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—He gave me this platform. It was bestowed upon me this ability; fame does grant the opportunity to do this. So, I would encourage everyone: building a relationship with Him can solve all your problems.”

Judge is well on his way to becoming a Hall of Famer, having achieved numerous historic milestones in his career. He’s a seven-time All-Star and two-time MVP, currently holding the American League single-season home run record at 62. This year, he also became the fastest player in MLB history to reach 350 home runs, surpassing Mark McGwire’s previous speed record.

He is notably one of the most vocal Christians in the league. During the All-Star Game, his bat featured not only the name of his newborn daughter, Nora, but also a biblical verse—2 Corinthians 5:7: “Because we live by faith, not by sight.”

His Twitter bio simply states, “Christian. Faith, Family, Baseball.”

Following his record-breaking 61 home runs in 2022, Judge spoke about his faith during a national TV interview. He stated, “I have to credit God for placing me in this position. I’m grateful for the continual support from my family and friends, from my Little League days through high school and college coaches who guided me.”

The Yankees are currently in second place in the American League East, trailing Toronto by two games.
