The Yankees will have to wait until Wednesday to face the Angels.
The first game of a three-game series in the Bronx was postponed until Tuesday because of continued bad weather forecasts.
Instead, the teams will play a doubleheader on Wednesday with the first game starting at 4:05 p.m. and the second game starting after 7:05 p.m.
The first match will be broadcast on YES while the second match will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.
Tuesday night tickets will not be valid for admission on Wednesday but can be exchanged for any similar regular-season game at Yankee Stadium.
It was a second consecutive night off for the Yankees, who beat the Blue Jays 4-3 on Sunday thanks to an extra-innings walk-off hit by DJ LeMahieu.
The Yankees were tied with the rival Orioles for the lead in the American League East at 67-46 going into Tuesday’s game, but are 29-24 at home this season.
With a record of 49 wins and 63 losses, the Angels were in fourth place in the AL West and 13 games out of the final AL wild card spot. They appeared destined to miss the playoffs for the 10th consecutive year and to finish with a winning percentage below .500 for the seventh consecutive year.

The team is without perennial MVP candidate Mike Trout, who announced last Thursday that he is done for the season with a torn meniscus.
