The newest New York Giant, former stud LSU receiver Malik Nabors, arrived at the team’s facility on Friday and he said do not have He seems happy to be there.
After the Giants selected him with the No. 6 overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL Draft, the team flew him out to meet with coaches and staff, but he seemed reluctant when he arrived.
In fact, a video posted by the Giants on social media shows Nabers looking absolutely miserable while shaking hands with Giants general manager Joe Schon and head coach Brian Daboll. .

Listen, he just came straight from the draft in Detroit and was probably spending the night celebrating, but he looks alive, young man! You’re in the NFL! 30 million dollars guaranteed! Endorsement sale is coming! Life is good, will that weird smile kill you? (Related: NFL Teams Spending Premium Picks on QBs…What the Hell are They Doing?)
Maybe Nabors ends up catching a pass from Daniel Jones and wondering if he can actually get the ball more than five yards down the field, but that’s a legitimate concern. But at least you have to look good in front of the camera. Especially if you live in New York.
As a lifelong New York sports fan, I can tell you this. The media will scrutinize your every little move. Well, I’m doing it now. However, I would like to give his Nabers the benefit of the doubt. He’s an absolute stud. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds. He rushed for 1,570 yards and 14 touchdowns at LSU last season. I think he will be a great player. But he’s not off to the best start here.
I would interpret this as him being so obsessed with soccer that he doesn’t even have time to express his emotions. Purely for self-preservation, this is the only way we can deal with this level of indifference from our nova.
