Yearbook images feature accused Kirk murderer Tyler Robinson

Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the assassination of Charlie Kirk, appeared like an ordinary teenager passionate about mechanics, according to insights gained from his yearbook.

Robinson was part of the Auto Mechanics Club at Pine View High School, where he posed for a picture in his junior yearbook.

His smile lit up the photo, and he looked tidy in a plain blue t-shirt.

Interestingly, he was also included in a section of the yearbook where students shared their favorite subjects. He stated, “It makes more sense than math, English.”

The yearbook highlighted his involvement in teaching peers about car repairs as part of the Auto Mechanics Club.

A former classmate described Robinson as a typical student who socialized with friends, particularly in school bands.

At the time, he appeared well-adjusted. He achieved high marks on his university entrance exam and secured a four-year scholarship to Utah State University in Logan.

During his graduation ceremony in 2021, cheers erupted as he accepted his diploma.

However, after a semester at Utah State, he dropped out and transferred to Dixie Technical College within Utah’s public university system.

Just short of completing his third year, prosecutors allege that he climbed onto a roof at a Utah Valley University building and shot Charlie Kirk from about 200 yards away this week.

Leading up to the event, Robinson reportedly expressed anti-Charlie Kirk sentiments on social media, often labeled as “full of hatred.”

The bullets retrieved from the scene had engravings, including phrases like “If you read this, you’re gay Lmao” and “Hey fascist! Catch!” suggesting a targeted motive.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox mentioned that Robinson had indicated plans for a family appearance at Utah Valley University shortly before the incident.
