‘Yellowstone’ and ‘Tootsie’ star Dabney Coleman dead at 92

Dabney Coleman, who starred in the popular series “Yellowstone” and the classic 1980s films “9 to 5” and “Tootsie,” has died. He was 92 years old.

Coleman’s daughter, Quincy Coleman, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Coleman died Thursday at his home in Santa Monica, California.

“My father, Dabney Wharton Coleman, passed away peacefully and gracefully on earth at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at his home,” Quincy told the show. Told.

The singer continued, “My father spent his time on Earth with a curious mind, a generous heart, and a soul fueled by the passion, desire, and humor that tickle every human’s funny bone.”

“He lived through this final act of his life with grace, excellence and mastery,” Quincy added.

“A teacher, a hero, and a king, Dabney Coleman is a gift and a blessing in life and death. His spirit will forever shine through his work, his loved ones, and his legacy. .”

The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
