“Yellowstone” star Kelly Reilly cuts through the noise surrounding the powerful fan base her hit Western attracts and the turmoil in Hollywood.
Riley shared his thoughts on the cultural influence and appeal that “Yellowstone” has had since its debut in 2018.
“I don't participate in any noise. I stay away from noise. The only safe place for me is at work, and then I go home with my husband. It's very boring,” Riley said. revealed. Town & Country Magazine.

Before playing Beth Dutton, John Dutton's strong and powerful daughter, Reilly had packed up her life in New York City and moved to the English countryside with husband Kyle Bauer in 2017.
“It could be a bullish cyclone, and a fake. I know I don't see my value in it.”
“While I have always loved what I do, this business sometimes presents challenges that I feel are not for me,” Riley said. “I just wanted to go back to theater and do two or three plays a year and live a quiet life. It didn't feel like a second prize. It was like a choice and I It was the life I wanted.”

“I remember reading this book while I was packing up my apartment and thinking, “Ah, ahh.'' It was like a bit of a challenge, and that challenge sparked my interest.” she said.

Riley jumped on the phone with the show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, and was immediately offered the role.

“I didn't even audition,” she recalls. “That's when I thought, 'Pfft, I haven't auditioned.' I was scared because I didn't know what to do, and it took me a minute to find her.”
Riley never worried about playing such a powerful role and focused on portraying Beth's complexity in relation to the world.
“It's not just about playing strong, capable women,” Riley said. “That's beside the point. Male characters can be troublesome at times, but they can still be heroic. In every way. And I think there's courage in embracing the shadows. Owning some of your darkness.” How can you be an honest person if you haven't?''? ”

As for continuing to play Beth Dutton, Reilly has mixed feelings about letting the character rest and continuing the “Yellowstone” story without Kevin Costner.
“I loved this season. There were some really different areas to explore, so I'm not clinging to her. I'm happy to put her back in the padlocked box.” she said.
In August, bombshell reports surfaced that Yellowstone would not end with season 5, but would continue into season 6.

Negotiations for season 6 of the Paramount drama are currently underway. Deadline reported. Sources told the outlet that although no deal has been reached yet, it is likely that “Yellowstone” will continue with Cole Hauser and Reilly in the lead roles.
“I'm definitely interested in Beth and who she is after something happens,” Riley told Town & Country.

“Who's the peace girl? As an actor, you're like, 'Oh, let me do that,'” Riley continued. “Wouldn't it be fun to watch Beth go to therapy?”
