“Yellowstone” star Laney Wilson is set to appear in the series finale of the popular western show.
At the 2024 CMT Awards, the country music artist said: entertainment tonight As for what fans can expect from the final episode of “Yellowstone,” she explained that she, like the series’ fanbase, is in the dark.
She said she would be “shocked” if her country singer Abby didn’t appear in the final episode.

“I’m going to be shocked, to be honest,” Wilson told the magazine. “And how do I think [series creator] Taylor Sheridan writes his own stories, and he has a beautiful way of putting things back together and letting things go. I would be shocked. So let’s see what happens. ”

Wilson, who won the Female Video of the Year award, told ET that she wanted to get to the bottom of the “Yellowstone” mystery for her own peace of mind and for her loyal fans.
“I’m going to get the scoop tonight,” she joked.
Earlier this month, Wilson told Fox News Digital ahead of the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards that he had “no idea” what the final episode of the fifth season would be.

“I’m still waiting to find out what’s going on in ‘Yellowstone,'” she explained. “I have no clue. I talked to Kelly Reilly.” [the actress who plays Beth Dutton] Let’s see what happens the other day. ”

She continued, “When they contact us, we’ll be there.”

Yellowstone was written by Taylor Sheridan, as were the series’ spinoffs 1883 and 1923.

Fans can expect the “Yellowstone” series to look to the past and future with two new spinoff series with the working titles “1944” and “2024.”
After the first half of Season 5 aired in late 2022, the show went on hiatus for the holidays. Multiple sources said Costner only wanted to work for a week to film the remaining episodes, but continued to insist that was difficult because he was the star of the show.

In February 2023, Costner’s attorney Marty Singer issued a statement to FOX News Digital regarding the rumors, saying, “The idea that Kevin was only going to work for one week in the second half of the movie… “Yellowstone” Season 5 is a complete lie.

“That’s ridiculous and anyone who suggests it shouldn’t be believed for a second. As anyone who knows anything about Kevin well knows, he’s incredibly passionate about the show.” and has always gone above and beyond to ensure the show’s success.”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sheridan said Costner is focused on writing, producing and starring in his own films. “Horizon” is a four-part Western film. Costner has been working on the film series for 35 years, but reportedly had difficulty balancing it with Yellowstone once Horizon was approved.

“My opinion of Kevin as an actor hasn’t changed,” Sheridan told the outlet in June. “His portrayal of John Dutton is iconic and powerful…and I’ve never had a problem with Kevin not being able to get through on the phone. But once the lawyers get involved, people talk to each… They start saying things that aren’t true and try to shift blame based on media and public reaction. ”

“He’s taken a lot on the chin, but I don’t know who deserves it. His movies seem to be such a priority for him that he wants to shift his focus. I certainly hope “I’m here” [the movie is] It’s worth it and that’s a good thing,” he continued.
