Hostin said: And then after January 6th, you start to see people like Mitch McConnell put the responsibility for January 6th on the shoulders of Donald Trump, and then people backtrack on that and lose their moral center. I remember that. I think Condoleezza Rice said on this very show that we need to move on from January 6th. ”

She continued, “I say no. January 6th was an atrocity, so please don't move on.”

Hostin added, “It was one of the worst moments in American history. And when you think about the worst moments in American history, just like World War II, you think about things like the Holocaust and chattel slavery.'' It happened. If you forget and erase the past, it becomes a prologue, so never forget it. If you forget and erase the past, it becomes a prologue, so never forget it. Sho.”
