Pop star Lizzo posted a video of herself on a private jet over the weekend en route to Kamala Harris' campaign. It was a jarring and hypocritical image, as both Lizzo and Kamala Harris are advocates for climate change activism.
Lizzo declared as she boarded the plane in an ostentatious manner. “This is how bad women save democracy. They can't even write the word democracy!”
It remains unclear who she was referring to by the word “hoe.”
Her “democracy” claims ignore the fact that Kamala Harris skipped the entire primary process and was nominated as the Democratic nominee without receiving a single vote.
Lizzo appeared at a Kamala Harris rally in Detroit on Saturday and declared to the crowd that if Harris wins the election, “the whole country will look like Detroit.”
Her comments prompted widespread ridicule, given Detroit's status as a city in deep economic decline, where crime is rampant and urban blight is commonplace.
Lizzo looks like she's having fun posing on her private jet for social media.
In 2022, the singer posted a now infamous video showing off her big bare butt while wearing a tiny thong while boarding another private jet.
At the same time, Lizzo has used social media to promote climate change activism. In 2019, she posted an image on Instagram from a climate change-related protest that read, “I took a DNA test and found out I'm 100% scared for our future.” It was written with a hashtag. “Climate Strike”.
