While discussing Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on ABC's “The View” on Tuesday, Sarah Haines said that to find out that slavery was the cause of the Civil War, “all you have to do is wake up and come out of your vagina.” '' he told his co-hosts.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “Republican candidate and former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley received a huge amount of attention because of the way she answered what was supposed to be a fairly basic question about U.S. history.'' We're doing damage control.”
After playing footage of Haley being asked about the cause of the Civil War, Goldberg said, “It was just slavery. Slavery. Every time people try to change it, we have to undo it.” Yes. You're old enough to know. You read history books. You know what was going on. One side said, “We want slaves.'' The other side said, “We want slaves.'' That's not true,'' and they started a war. Don't sugarcoat this. That's what it was. ”
Haynes said, “What I don't understand is how she starts the question with a difficult question. In fact, I think it's a very easy question. And when she says it's a problem, She shows where her head is again, because that's not the important question.”
She continued: “This is one of the simplest questions anyone can ask. You don't need a history book. All you have to do is wake up and come out of your vagina. Everyone in this country knows the history of this country. It is a dirt that we carry around like a burden, and it needs to be cried out and declared over and over again, but it is easy.”
