‘You Ruined Me’: News Anchor Who Killed Herself Reportedly Sent Haunting Message To Fiancé

The Wisconsin news anchor who fatally shot herself sent haunting texts to her fiancé moments before her death, according to the Daily Mail.

Newscaster Neena Pacholke died by suicide in late August. Pacholke and her fiance, Kyle Haase, broke up just seven weeks before they were set to marry, according to the Daily Mail. The breakup came after two years of alleged affairs, heavy drinking and constant fighting.

The day before the suicide, a friend had gone to the home that Pacholke and Haase had recently purchased and removed all firearms out of fear for Pacholke’s mental state, according to the Daily Mail.

Pacholke also expressed her turmoil to her sister, texting her that she was “broken,” according to the Daily Mail. (RELATED: REPORT: Bed Bath & Beyond CFO Jumps To His Death)

“[Kyle] told me he hates me and will feel like a million bucks once I am out of his life,” Pacholke reportedly texted her sister.

Haase was headed to Minnesota with his children from a previous relationship to visit family when Pacholke texted him she was “going to do something.”

Her final text to Haase read “I love you Kyle. I always have and always will. Despite how much you ruined me, I always had hope. I’m so sorry to do this to you but I can’t handle any of this pain anymore,” according to the Daily Mail.

Haase alerted authorities and asked for a welfare check. They arrived on scene at 11:20 a.m., according to the report.

When police arrived they reportedly tried to peer through windows but could not determine if anyone was home. They later heard a noise as if someone had fallen and waited approximately 30 minutes before entering the home. Officers found Pacholke slumped in a closet with a firearm laying next to her, the Daily Mail reported.

Police found a receipt on a nearby dresser showing Pacholke had purchased a 9mm handgun earlier that morning along with ammunition, according to the Daily Mail.
