Young bikers cause chaos in Boston as groups take over the roads, while the mayor remains quiet on the situation

In Boston, a chaotic scene unfolded when over 100 bikers took to the highways, causing significant traffic disruptions. This strange event was first reported around 2 PM on Saturday after Massachusetts State Police received a call regarding a gathering of motorcycles, electric scooters, and dirt bikes in the O’Neill Tunnel.

Michael Filindro, a driver on the interstate, described witnessing an unusual sight: “I noticed there was a whole line of cars on the road, followed by about 20 bikes. There were no police escorting them. They were running traffic lights and maneuvering between cars.” The drivers shared their surprising experiences, noting how the bikers weaved in and out of traffic without helmets.

During this mayhem, one biker reportedly collided with a state police cruiser. The individual, it seems, jumped off and fled on foot. Only one biker, a 22-year-old named Adam Harrison, was arrested after the incident; he was recognized by the troopers as part of the group.

Interestingly, Harrison claims he was not involved in the chaotic ride. “I saw a bunch of bikers on the Seaport Bridge and thought it looked interesting,” he stated. “I wasn’t on the highway, nor did I go through the tunnel. Honestly, I think it’s reckless to ride on the highway.” On Monday, he faced charges of resisting arrest and is set to return to court on September 30 to address other charges.

It’s worth noting that court records concerning Harrison’s defense are currently not available. Meanwhile, the response from Massachusetts State Police and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu regarding this incident has yet to come.

Witness Michael Lancaster expressed his shock: “It was scary; we never even heard them approaching. They made sharp turns and caught everyone off guard. There were so many bikers.” The incident has sparked discussions about safety and crime management in the city.
