Young Men Are Not Being Lazy. They Are Being Overlooked for Inexpensive Alternatives.

Young Men and Political Perceptions

There’s a curious sentiment surrounding young men today. They often seem to be viewed as mere objects, no matter the political side. It’s hard to really pinpoint the complaints against them; perhaps they seem a bit entitled, expecting too much from the efforts of women in their lives. The notion of humanity isn’t just about putting up with things for a greater cause—it’s about grappling with the struggle that often seems pointless. In the end, one might say, “You have nothing to show for it. It’s not about the respect you gain from home, family, jobs, or sacrifices. Yet, you’ll still find a way to be content.”

It’s quite surprising that the GOP believes this is an effective strategy. That’s the impression I got after listening to some Republicans address the cultural challenges in America. Ignoring young male voters, especially those under 30, seems risky for the party’s future. Particularly when Democrats are keen on trying to attract this electoral group away from them.
