YouTube Prohibits Clavicular After His Overdose During a Live Stream

YouTube Bans Popular Streamer’s Channels After Disturbing Incident

YouTube has taken down two channels belonging to a streamer known as Clavicular just days after he suffered an overdose during a live stream.

Braden Peters, the 20-year-old behind the Clavicular name, gained notoriety for extreme body modification practices, which include bone crushing. Following his overdose incident on April 14, he was promptly hospitalized. He later addressed his viewers, mentioning he needed to recover from the shock of the situation.

On Thursday, Clavicular expressed his dismay on X, stating, “Very sad news this morning. My YouTube channels @LiveWithClav and @ClavLooksmax were terminated this morning without any warning or explanation.”

He noted that his channels included various livestream recordings and free educational courses he developed, aimed at helping young men realize their potential. “My team and I really worked hard to follow YouTube’s guidelines and to filter out anything inappropriate,” he pleaded, asking for assistance in recovering his account.

Clavicular shared a notification he received regarding the channel’s removal, which stated, “After reviewing your content, we found serious or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines. As a result, we have removed your channel from YouTube.”

A YouTube spokesperson informed Variety, “We are terminating creator original channels in November 2025,” which adds to the uncertainty surrounding the platform’s policies.

They further explained that additional channels were deleted due to the violation of their Terms of Service, which prohibits creating new channels after termination.

Following the incident, the streamer faced significant backlash on social media, with numerous users expressing approval of the removal of his content from YouTube.
