YouTuber Who Gave Parenting Advice Faces Jail Term Of 60 Years For Abusing Own Children

Franke’s former business partner, Jody Hildebrandt, who was also involved in the abuse, received the same sentence.

“The children were regularly denied food, water, a bed to sleep in, and virtually all entertainment,” said Utah prosecutor Eric Clark.

Franke wept in court as she received the verdict. She apologized to her children, saying, “I was so confused that I believed darkness was light and right was wrong.”

In August 2023, Ruby Franke and Jody Hildebrandt were arrested following an incident involving Franke’s malnourished 12-year-old son.
