Zack Brown and Kendra Scott Celebrate Engagement
Zack Brown and jewelry designer Kendra Scott are officially engaged. The country singer proposed with a stunning pink diamond, and it seems he might be moving to Austin, Texas, to turn Scott’s $6.7 million home into their shared retreat.
The 46-year-old “Oldrab Song” artist got down on one knee to ask 51-year-old Scott to marry him.
The couple shared their joyful news, expressing they are “happy and grateful” to have found each other.
They recently marked their first public appearance as a couple at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas back in May. Insiders indicated they were head over heels in love.
“They were introduced through mutual friends and have become inseparable. They are completely in love,” a source shared.
Shortly after their relationship became public, Scott talked about her family, mentioning her son Cade, 23, and Beck, 21, along with her ex-husband and her younger son Gray, 11.
On Instagram, she reminisced about the award show, saying, “What an unforgettable night! We danced and laughed. It was definitely a highlight for Zack’s first veteran audio award.”
She praised Brown, stating, “@zacbrown, I’m so proud of you. Your heart, your service, and the person you are make you deserving of this.” They were later spotted together at the wedding of fellow country artist Jamie Johnson, delighting fans with their romance.
This engagement comes two years after Brown’s separation from ex-wife Shelley Brown and Kelly Yazdi. He parted ways with Yazdi just last year after only four months of marriage.
The couple announced their decision to divorce with a joint statement, expressing mutual respect and a desire for privacy. Brown even sought a temporary restraining order regarding Instagram posts made by Yazdi, which she contested with vigorous social media responses.
Brown, in the midst of this tumultuous divorce, listed a lakeside property in Georgia for $3.25 million, having purchased it for $1.8 million previously.
Scott’s luxurious 16,149-square-foot home, built in 2016, features eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, complete with a resort-style pool and ample greenery for privacy.
Her home boasts an open-concept kitchen that overlooks a spacious living room, providing scenic views of the lake through a screen porch.
While Brown has remained in Georgia since selling his prior home, his engagement to Scott might prompt a change in residence to her opulent Austin property.
