Country singer Zac Brown reportedly filed a lawsuit Friday seeking a restraining order against ex-wife Kelly Yazdi and the deletion of her social media posts about him.
Court documents allege that Yazdi’s posts contain details that are incredibly damaging to the country’s star. TMZ. The newspaper noted that court documents obtained did not specify which post Yazdi was talking about.
According to TMZ, Brown and Yazdi married in August 2023, but announced their split just four months later in a joint statement.
Yazdi’s current Instagram pin is a video from May 4 that shows her jumping into a pool and emerging from the water wearing a light blue bikini. Her caption is written in the third person, and although she never mentions Brown by name, it appears to imply that Brown was controlling and abusive.
“Her love was always unconditional. She thought he was too…but as time went on, it became clear that he only knew conditional love.” “The trauma that is not there is manifested through the desire to be domesticated,” Yazdi wrote. “Don’t model anymore. Delete this photo from Instagram. Don’t wear it inside the house. Don’t post that bikini photo. Don’t post any more fitness videos. Yes. I said you can post it, but now I’m asking you to delete it. I don’t want other men to see my stuff. I want to protect you, your body is mine. Holy shit, you see, it’s because I love you. I don’t want to be with a woman who has to flaunt her body to get attention. I’m breaking up with you. ”
“Prediction. Gaslighting. Intimidation. Sabotage. Those are the elements of narcissistic abuse,” she added.
