Actor Zac Efron was admitted to a Spanish hospital on Friday, sparking concern.
A rep for the actor said: People Magazine Efron reportedly had a “minor swimming accident” in the pool of his holiday villa in Ibiza.
A representative for Efron confirmed that he was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure only.
“He’s in good spirits,” his agent said of the 36-year-old.

TMZ previously reported Efron was reportedly found in the pool by villa staff on Saturday and pulled from the water.
The night before the incident, Efron appeared to be in good spirits. Videos posted on TikTok, The “Family Affair” actor was seen partying at Ushuaia Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club and dancing onstage with DJ Martin Garrix, who performs on Thursday.
Like many other Hollywood hotties, Efron has been spotted in a number of cities this summer, including Paris and Saint-Tropez.

The High School Musical star has spoken publicly about his sobriety in the past, telling Elle magazine in 2016 how it had changed his life.
“What I found was structure,” he said, “which led me to balance opposites. You get out of life what you put into it. There was a time when my morning routine was to wake up and Google myself. But that stopped dramatically and instantly, probably three years ago. I realized that seeing myself through other people’s photos wasn’t living my life. I wasn’t my true self.
