Festival Confrontation: Zach Bryan vs. Gavin Adcock
There was quite a scene at a festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, where Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock ended up in a physical altercation.
Videos shared on social media show Bryan, 29, attempting to break through a barbed wire fence to reach 26-year-old Adcock, only to be restrained by security personnel.
“Want to fight like a man? I’ll open the gate,” Bryan reportedly challenged Adcock, while another video captures Bryan shouting, “If they open this f-gate, I’ll kill you,” to which Adcock seemed to retort, “Come here and meet me, you hellish buddy.”
At one point, multiple security guards had to intervene as Bryan jumped onto the fence, still yelling at Adcock.
As the situation escalated, Adcock pointed at Bryan while he was being held by security. In an Instagram video, Bryan accused Adcock of making death threats prior to the festival, leading to their heated exchange. Adcock added a cheeky note in the caption: “Eat Snickers, mates.”
Interestingly, tensions between the two have been brewing since July, when Adcock criticized Bryan’s reaction to a 14-year-old fan who had approached him after a show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Bryan took to TikTok to express his frustrations about the situation, explaining that sometimes he needed to recharge after long performances.
In a previous tweet, Adcock questioned Bryan’s ability to handle criticism, suggesting that if he couldn’t take it from a young fan, he might not deserve his status. He expressed concern that Bryan might not be as great as people claim.
This past Saturday, Bryan surprised the crowd as a guest performer, while Adcock was scheduled to take the stage later that evening. Their conflict appears to have added an unexpected layer to the event.
