Zach Wilson and Nicolette Delano’s Love Story

The romance between Zach Wilson and his new wife, Nicolette Delano, began some time ago, reaching a memorable moment at Citifield.

Wilson’s mother, Lisa, shared their story on Instagram just two days after the couple tied the knot. She recounted their first meeting: “How did they meet?” she wrote alongside a clip of Delano celebrating during their wedding reception. “Zach took a friend to a Mets game, and they locked eyes. My friend recognized her from TikTok. So, Zach slid into her DMs, and… well, the rest is history.”

Delano, who first got involved with Wilson in 2022, responded to Lisa’s post with a playful note, declaring, “I’m obsessed with my new mother-in-law.”

Lisa also included photos of the newlyweds as they danced and cut their wedding cake.

The couple celebrated their union in the iconic Rainbow Room after marrying at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on June 28, 2025.

This event followed a proposal in Italy a year before, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.

Delano looked stunning in a gown by Punina Tonai, while Wilson was dapper in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie.

Videos circulating on social media captured a heartfelt moment as Wilson shed tears upon seeing Delano walk down the aisle.

Through his NFL journey, Delano has been a supportive partner for Wilson, especially during his time with the Broncos last season, though he didn’t see any playtime there.

In March, Wilson found a new opportunity with the Miami Dolphins, signing a one-year, $6 million contract, where he will act as a backup for Tua Tagovailoa.
