Zelensky meets with King Charles in England

Ukrainian President Voldy Mirzelensky met with Charles III on Sunday, just two days after the Ukrainian president's explosive exchange with President Trump at his elliptical office.

The conference, held at Sandringham House, came before the UK-sponsored European Summit to strengthen Zelensky's support in the wake of a dramatic episode unfolded in the oval office on live television on Friday.

The royal accounts on social media platform X posted photos of the king on Zelensky and shook hands with each other.

“Tonight, the king welcomed the President of Ukrainian President @Zelenskyyua at Sandringham House,” he posted with the photo. The message ended with emojis on the Ukrainian flag.

British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer met with Zelensky on Saturday and accepted the president of the war-torn country upon arrival. The priority has pledged unwavering support to Ukraine, saying that the UK will stand as long as it stands with Ukraine.

The meeting came amid questions about the future of US-Ukraine relations after Zelensky challenged Trump and Vice President Vance at an oval office meeting, with American leaders rebuking Zelensky and accusing him of inadequately grateful.
